Kate LeRoux was born the only girl in her family of five LeRoux children, and the youngest of this musical, family clan. Their father was a popular big band leader (Dutch LeRoux and His Orchestra) in upstate New York during the height of small orchestras' popularity. His career was cut short by his untimely death at the age of 33. Four out of five of the LeRoux siblings are professional musicians and entertainers, and perform together on a regular basis.
After a hiatus to raise her daughter, Kate is back on the scene and is becoming recognized as one of Colorado's most gifted songwriters. Her style of country/pop & blues/rock always keeps Kate's fans interest. Her fan base is growing rapidly.

Her original band and Trio are working steadily in the Colorado area. The Kate LeRoux Band sold out their debut concert at Swallow Hill Music Hall in January of 2009. They had their first performance at The Paramount Theater in Denver on August 15th, 2009, opening for the Subdudes.

Kate also continues to perform with the BEST Dance/Show Band in the Region: The Nacho Men.
